This past weekend, Connor and I headed to St. Louis for Mardi Gras. We met up with my sister and a couple of our friends. We stayed at a pretty nice Airbnb (linked here). It ended up being a pretty good location and it was giant. I was super impressed and would definitely stay there again.
We spent most of our day Saturday out at Soulard and experiencing Mardi Gras in St. Louis. There were so many people, lots of hurricanes and other drinks, and it was very festive overall! The weather was also really nice and sunny, so it made for a great day! I will include lots of photos now:
While we were in St. Louis, we did try a couple of places for coffee and breakfast. The first morning we went to Northwest Coffee Roasting. It was a cute spot with a big outdoor seating area. The coffee wasn’t my favorite, but the overall shop and employees were super nice.
On Sunday morning before leaving, we got breakfast and coffee at Half & Half in Clayton (pretty sure that’s an area in St. Louis). This place ended up being so cute and yummy! I got the avocado & spinach eggs benedict and a matcha. We had a variety of meals at our table and they all looked great. The prices were really reasonable too.
It was overall a great weekend, the perfect reason to see friends, and fun to experience Mardi Gras.
